Thought I’d share what I’ve done to mine.

Having a pop top conversion soon that’ll give more room when sleeping. I also have a tailgate tent which I’ve not taken pics of.

The sliders allow all three items to be slid right out over the back. They are rated at 75kg each so complete overkill on my part.

The bed is enormous but I’ve not takes pics with the mattress on either. The slotted sections are hinged and fold away behind the middle seats. The little cut outs on the bottom of each corner has a small hinged section that flips out to make a perfect rectangle. I’ve also since replaced the nuts with stainless dome nuts.

Everything is made of lightweight, campervan plywood so economy has not been changed at around 30mpg.

There is also a 200w solar panel to go on yet but that’ll go on once the pop top has been fitted. The Ecoflow Delta Plus keeps the fridge running without being charged for a week and can run the induction hob continually for many hours if we need to do so but generally we only use it on hookup.

The awning is the Vango Galli 3 which we only use if we plan to stay more than a weekend.

We’re happy with it so far and not a great deal left to do.

Have a great weekend y’all!

John. 👍

So thats what you've been up to, I've never seen a campered E52.....well done. 👍🏻
Many thanks! I’ve really enjoyed the process TBH. The raised rear did make it tricky but there is huge storage underneath the sliders so didn’t work out too bad. 👍👍👍

I do like the induction hobs. I use one when hooked up, better than gas and no fire risk.
Absolutely, way safer. 👍👍👍

This one has worked out great. It’s actually made for campervans so it doesn’t drain the power bank too much. Good result….
