Pulled out my S3 radio unit last night to fit an FM expander and discovered a Bullcon module which allows the dash screen to stay on TV mode while driving.

I’m never going to watch TV while motoring along, and neither would any front seat passenger. As it’s proving awkward to fit back in the space behind the radio, I was thinking about removing it but a niggling voice says I might regret it.

Is there any reason NOT to remove it?

Yes, you can then use the screen while stationary with parking brake off. I rarely use the parking brake (only on slopes) but I often watch telly on front screen while waiting for SWMBO to get her shopping fix.

I personally use YouTube whilst driving through a chromecast connected to the rca inputs. Before anyone comments about distraction whilst driving I play music and most albums I found display one image ie not video so don't distract or I'll turn the display off if not. Works well and gives me access to any music especially with the voice control remote.
