We don’t usually divulge ££££££ we spend on our Vans, just incase.
We tend to under estimate prices to be on the safe side, a rule of thumb I use is divide to cost of any purchase or Elgrand expenditure by 20.

It has a lot to do with who the household CFO is, spending sometimes needs to be massaged or even hidden in the interest of household harmony.
In my case SWMBO doesn't take much notice of what I spend, she has no personal income so can develop a sudden and keen interest when I get things delivered especially if I have moaned about the number of Amazon deliveries she gets for the grandchildren and dog. Apparently they a more important than Magnu.

Ha, the classic double standard strikes again! Hard to complain about the Amazon tsunami when your own parcels are quietly stacking up in the garage. SWMBO has a sixth sense for that kind of thing, they always seem to clock a delivery the one time you'd rather they didn't. Magnu clearly needs a better PR team to compete with grandkids and the dog!
