What better way to spend New Years Day than to fit new spark plugs 😄
Developed a misfire while away over Christmas, hoping it's just a plug!

A bit late, if you plugged in a code reader, it would have gave the cylinder/s number if at fault.
Also had a misfire, some time ago, removed the offending coil pack, stretched the spring, put it back in, no trouble since.
Hope it went well
 
The plugs turned out to be well worn so just as well I changed them. I noticed it had one new coil pack already fitted by the previous owner. I've only had it a short while. A new code reader is on my list, I've only got an OBD reader.

If you have a laptop then get the NDS11 download plus the cable, well worth it.

I'm just doing the spark plugs on my E51 too. Wondering if you know what type of plugs it takes. I pulled one out and it looks like iridium?

Denso iridium IKH16TT. Are highly recommended by @Lpgc , he fitted them to mine and I have no problems with them whatsoever
 
I fitted NGK Laser Platinum PLFR5A-11 N plugs only because that's what JMD supplied.
 
Denso iridium IKH16TT or IKH20TT are definitely the best.
