Rear view mirror vibrates

Does anyone else have an issue with a very vibraty rear view mirror? I've checked all the screws are tight and it's all pinched up. Anyone know how to stop this?

I did see the little knob an wondered if there should be something there, mine is missing then have to see if I can source a replacement
 
I put a slightly longer piece of rubber tube on mine to cure the vibration, and it still vibrates :( but if you have a black one due to the speed you rarely have time to look behind you ;)

As the nun said to the vicar “that rubbers too soft”
 
It’s a bad design to be fair.
A piece of stiff tube cut to exact length and bonded to the screen would have been better
