I have an ex demo side kitchen from Northstar Conversions installed in Ellie and they tell me that the gas tank goes in the lower cupboard at the rear of the units. Trouble is that I cannot see how this meets many of the regs for fire proof walling, fire stopping, drop out hole, etc etc. Maybe it’s me but I’m watching a YouTube about the regs and they doesn’t sound possible to meet in a small van such as an Elgrand. Any views out there?

Have you got a link to the video?

However, I’ve now slept on the issues and I think a) I can firestop the holes and joints to the habitation with intumescent sealer, b) the Formica ply itself would give the 20 mins specified. So overall not too bad. I’d appreciate your view too.
