as the title says. Is this and easy job or way too complicated. I’m starting to wish these were on my list.

I recently swapped electric curtains from a scrap Elgrand (that had factory fitted electric curtains) to a good Elgrand that didn't have curtains.

I swapped the interior panels that had the curtain rails fitted from the scrap Elgrand to the good Elgrand, that's 10 panels including the tailgate trim panels.

Swapped the electronic control modules from behind both sliding doors and tailgate, complete with most of the wiring loom but also had to modify the wiring loom behind sliding doors. To disconnect some of the loom from sliding doors you've got to partially remove the electro-mechanical lock / soft closing mechanism to disconnect wiring connectors.

Obviously had to swap the front overhead console.

That was quite a lot of work and I was lucky because the panels were the same colour on both cars. I don't think I'd do it again, if I wanted to fit curtains to another Elgrand I would fit aftermarket manually operated curtains rather than move factory electric curtains from one Elgrand to another. But I am pleased with the results and prefer electric to manual curtains.

I wanted to fit electric curtains into mine, the looms were completely different behind the panels and I would have had to swap the full loom all along the side of the vehicle.

Way too much work.

On my S1 the loom was there for the rear side windows and as far as the connector in the sliding doors, was there as far as the connector to the tailgate. But had to change the sliding door looms, tailgate loom and modules inside doors and tailgate.

S3 very different, would have needed fuse box, terminals, loom, door loom.

Was expecting to just plug in some wires but the plugs didn't even exist, the whole loom along pass side was different.
