I’m looking for a genuine alternator replacement for an Elgrand 2.5 petrol year 2005, any recommendations ?

The 3.5 and 2.5 are the same alternators They are 3pin you can get them on eBay for £120.96 and at the moment with a 10% off So it comes to £108 86 is shown as a 3 5 but they're identical

I know you said you wanted a genuine one you can get one from here £655.10 but you might have to pay import duty as well.

Alternatively get one from a breaker and ask a good auto electrician to rebuild it.
