Has anyone on here had Vine Place fit an Android auto/Carplay unit in their E51?

I opted for the rear view mirror mounted unit at £174.99. They advised me that the £600 options won't be available as they have reliability issues
 
Ah nice to know, was it Karl who sold you it? He showed me it in a Toyota today and I was a bit unsure about it with the location and smaller screen

It was indeed, I looked round an Alphard and the interior didn't do it for me at all.

What's currently fitted in the car? Check EVERYTHING you want to work actually works. I had a less than desirable experience with them in the end.
 
It's just factory at the minute I'm doing my research on what system I actually want putting in before I commit. Still got a 3 to 4 week wait before I get the car so have time.
