I have just installed an add on that will let you embed media from a wide list of websites including Flikr, Tumblr, Instagram, SoundCloud, Spotify, and various others.

All you need to do is press the media button and paste the web address in. Then click Embed. This will paste a direct link to the video/song that you have linked.
