The e51 proves to be the very best car for driving narrow Devin and Cornwall lanes. Why? Many reasons actually:

-flat sided, easy to point.
-a camera that might have been specifically designed with tucking in to a stone wall or hedge in mind
-snow mode which means smooth progress which is exactly what you want
-an appearance of being bigger than it is, meaning many a car will politely give way even though they might well be longer and wider
-massive wing mirrors meaning than when you do actually have to reverse you need not look over your shoulder at all, it can be perfectly judged from just those mirrors

I drove a Tesla down those roads once - absolute nightmare.

I was unexpectedly very pleased to find the e51 the perfect car!
 
That’s true, it is indeed fine in normal mode - although it worked for me and my size 12s
 
During manoeuvring of an automatic left foot for the brake pedal, right foot for the accelerator gives a lot more control.

I have never actually tried that - I guess force of habit - but that does make sense and I will have a go at some point....
