I, and others, have recommended using Imgur as a site to use for sharing photos on this forum. Unfortunately due to UK legislation Imgur has decided to block access from the UK.
I'm a user of Imgur and am disappointed by the way the block has been implemented. I haven't received an email warning me of their actions, which might be because it's not obvious from my accounts where I'm based.
There could be some users who use Imgur as the only site where they store images.
By using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) with an exit point outside of the UK, such as France or Holland, it is possible to get access to Imgur.
DO NOT USE A FREE VPN. The infrastructure behind a good VPN service is not cheap.

A help article on Imgur's US website, seen by the BBC, states that "from September 30, 2025, access to Imgur from the United Kingdom is no longer available".
"UK users will not be able to log in, view content, or upload images. Imgur content embedded on third-party sites will not display for UK users."
