What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Had 5 minutes at lunchtime today....defaced the bus ready for painting the grill and fog surrounds....also made a hefty purchase to aid in reducing the bounce when loaded.

Did your fog surrounds pop out ok? I’m painting mine this summer, along with grille and rear chrome.

Had a visit from @DMC this morning and removed about 5 miles of redundant wiring and got the bypass cable working.
Yes, many thanks for that @Stempy much appreciated. All been re assembled and in full working order. I’m glad you said 5 miles of cable, otherwise some may think i was exaggerating ! 😂 She’s in for her bumper repair at the moment, missing it already!

Excellent. Glad to hear it all went back together ok.

Had the suspension looked at, it would appear the nasty "clacking" sound from the drivers side front is a faulty strut top bearing. Will also need some rear drop links and D bushes at some point. Have ordered the strut top and will have that sorted next week.Still awaiting the replacement alternator.Fingers crossed that next week will see some serious improvements in my lovely bus!

I've got to do exactly the same when my mirror arrives. Was it ok to dismantle or any snapable areas to watch out for?
It was one sneaky screw hidden beneath a sticker that threw a spanner in the works.. but I got there in the end and I didn’t brake anything .

3 weeks, lots of swearing and frustration and nearly giving up the will to live - so relatively easy to do ;o))))))))
I wasn’t gonna be beaten .. calm head is needed and no brute force ..sometimes it’s best to walk away and start again another day
