Due to the number of ingrates... ElgrandOC may be closing.

After 3.5 years, its too much stress to carry on.

I'll make my final decision in the coming weeks.
 
That would be a sad thing to happen Karl but i can only assume the work that goes in to running this site.

Just ban the arseholes and make it a bit easier on yourself!

Agree with the ban idea!! if you can’t talk about van related issues without offering sound advice then go away. Any offensive messages other than in jokin manor remove them. Facebook is their if people really want a bitchfest

Me, I love this site and have improved social and man escape days thanks to you!! You are back bone to this and I hope you will continue with the assistance of the hardcore OC members!!

Well this is a bit of a shock for us all, staff included!

I've been in this club since it was a concept in Karl's head. I would hate to see it collapse.

We've talked in the past about me taking over the reigns, and although I'm not really in a better place than Karl in my personal life I wouldn't like to see this place close down so I'll do my best, with the help of a great admin team to keep things going.

Just wish we had a bit more notice than "I've resigned, goodbye..."
 
Karl maybe it's time to take a break mate? Hand the site over to the admin team for however long you need, we'd be gutted if this place went, but more importantly, you would be too.

What you've created here is an amazing place, one that no doubt is responsible for the number of new Elgrands that pop up in the UK.
 
@Karl Hopefully a bit of time away will help clear your head a little

The site is great and without it most of us still be running standard Elgrands with no mods

Certainly I wouldn't have known about the Cats etc....

Awww, nooooo @Karl , just don't do Facebook mate, that's where all the grief is? This site and the club are absolutely invaluable, your efforts are appreciated by so many. Take your time, hopefully you will have a change of heart x
 
I might just be "loosing my shit" at the moment, so I'll leave the club in the capable hands of @Madfish and the team.

I have no idea if I'll ever step back up... at the moment it's hard enough just to get out of bed and after this morning, seems even that is something I'm struggling with.
 
@Karl Just take some time out

the Admins have got this covered, all of you do an amazing job and I am sure with the recent changes and abuse you have received all of you can do with a break here and there, take a holiday, drink some Jack, smoke some Cigars and come back refreshed and ready to Rant ;-)
 
Dude everyone needs a break now and again! Take some time, go to the shows you've got coming up, and enjoy them for what they are!! Not in an organisational roll!! Let the admin take the reins on here for a bit, and give yourself a breather. We'll still be here when you come back. Got to put you, and your loved ones first for a while and find a better place in your life without some of the shit you have to deal with from ejits online.
