A common question that is asked is "does anyone have the tracking settings for me Elgrand?".

Well, the best option for you us to take your vehicle to a garage that has a HUNTER TRACKING MACHING.

The settings for the Elgrand are stored in the database for the Hunter Machine. All you need to do is turn up and get it tracked.

You can find your nearest garage equipped with the Hunter Machine by using this website https://www.alignmycar.co.uk

Alternatively, you can take your car to a local Kwik Fit, as all of their branches have the system in place.

I am unsure of the cost for 4 wheel tracking, but Kwik Fit is around £50. Other garages may be the same, but find your nearest garage and get a quote.

This is excellent

not got issues currently but think its worth me getting it in there at end of month just to be sure

Lol, I thought the same

I've seen youtube vids of Japanese doing track days with them. Not exactly what I would think of as a track toy.....

If it moves, you can race in it or on it!

I thought I saw it mentioned in a other thread (can't find it now) that the rider version is the same settings as the highway star, is that correct?

Had mine done on a Hunter it the same settings as a e52
defiantly not the same as a E52 would get it re-checked before tyres start to show problems

Actually I don't get it, tracking here means tyre alignment?

We used a Hunter m/c on our Rover 75 a few years back. They check all the toe ins, castor and cambers against manufacturer data too. Really good. Tracking and alignment... :D Think I read another thread on here about it some where.....:expressionless::)

Haven't done any research yet and with no manual yet - are the REAR wheels adjustable in the same way they are on the Rover??

Seem to recall that one had to have properly inflated tyres (obviously) and at least half a tank of fuel at the time of testing for accurate geometry!

I had my Volvo done a few years back as it kept wear on the inside. My garage at the time opened the book. Car was tracking correctly, the book said it was in as the figures were 0 +/- 5.
Even if it’s in and tires are still wearing the track rods can still be adjusted to help compensate for wear.

Hope this helps
