A polite message to everyone.

The role of "Regional Rep" is NOT for them to organise ALL meets within that region. The role is merely to help facilitate meets and help others to organise meets if they need assistance.

We have had an issue tonight whereby one member felt it was OK to call out one of our regional reps because they were not organising meets on their doorstep, and actually told the regional rep to stand down. Rather than come to us and ask to be a rep themselves to help share the burden, or just asking for assistance to organise a meet in their area, they felt the need to personally attack a member of the team because they were not meeting their personal expectations.

This is NOT OK.

We, the team, do our best to ensure a lively, friendly and inclusive atmosphere. We are not here for you to take personal shots at and belittle.

If anyone would like to organise a meet, feel empowered to do so. If you don't know where to start and would like some assistance from someone who is experienced, please contact your regional rep. If you don't have a regional rep, please contact any member of the admin team and we will do our best to help you out.

Whenever we have asked for people to step up to become a regional rep, very very few have actually offered support. Those who have taken on the responsibility, and those recently who have offered to help, we hugely appreciate your efforts. We are looking for more reps to serve each area to help share the load. If you feel like you would like to be involved in helping the team and being a bigger part of the club, please drop me a PM and we can discuss. Any and all help is appreciated.

Is there a list of Reps or an organisational chart just to show who the admin team are and the reps are for the various areas. Apologies if it’s there and I just haven’t found it.

they all deserve a pat on the back for making things run smoothly in this group, they too will have busy lives but find the time to be there for us. 👋👋🥇

Really! oh my, you do wonder how some folk see the world ..... I'd like to add my 'thumbs up' to all regional reps, admins and others who make this space the great, inclusive, polite and so well informed forum that it is. 👍
