Since we changed the permissions on the forum to restrict guest access and new member access, you may have noticed that things aren't working as they should when you look for things on Google.

Now, the big downfall of that is that the built in search tool for the forum is pretty awful and rarely helps.

So I have just installed a new add-on which is called "Advanced Search". You will find a new button along the navigation bar at the top that says "advanced search".

Click on this, type in the key words you want to search for, and then you can select what forums you want to search in. So say for example you are looking for technical help, you enter the keywords you are looking for and then select the Technical Section in the forum listing.

Test it, try it out, and feel free to give any feedback as to whether it's better/worse or the same as the current search feature.
