Cheers, Emma.

Added "North East" to the title just so it's more obvious for people browsing the "new posts"

Me, Hartlepool :)

Pffttt, can't post without it being messed with haha

Cheers mate.

We are Sunderland/Durham border

I'm from YorK, so fairly easy for us to get north by either A1 or A19. May time is good too (although I'm away at the end of that month) :)

Seeing as the weather is warming up nicely... how about finding a nice big field that we can all park up in and have a picnic/BBQ? Somewhere where dogs and kids can run about and play without causing any grief, and the rest of us can chill out with some tunes and some food. Those who aren't driving could kick back with a cool box and have a few refreshing beverages of the alcoholic variety.

This is the kind of meet I used to really enjoy as it becomes more about socialising with people than being about the cars. It also attracts more people to come as it's an informal, relaxed atmosphere where people can come and go as they please.

Is there anywhere around here where we could do something like this?

Just about to post, It's carpark ... But attached to a lovely area very dog friendly. Also including a Pothole on the map as we hit it. (There is another entrance)
