@juggleberry

Are you going to organise Japfest for 2025 as having not got to this show the last few years for various reasons I quite fancy attending in 2025 and am tempted to make a weekend of it by staying at the show campsite on the Saturday night prior to the show (I think that this is the same site as Yakushi which I have stayed at before) .

Tickets are not on sale yet but judging from the 2024 show they went on sale in November 2023 so would expect that they will go on sale soon.

Just in case I have signed up for advance notice of when tickets go on sale.

I have just had an-email from Japfest to inform me that tickets are now on sale.

As have not heard anything from @juggleberry on whether he is going to organise or not I have registered on the Japfest site for a club stand as I was a bit concerned that as the 2024 club passes sold out by about the 3rd week in December to leave it any later would result in any members wishing to attend not being able to book on the club stand.

Cost is

Club Ticket Prices

  • Club Driver & Vehicle Pass £25 Includes: – Entry for the driver and vehicle – Free Official Japfest newspaper Showguide, collected at the show.
  • Club Adult Passenger Ticket £25 Includes: – Entry for passengers within the vehicle – Free Official Japfest newspaper Showguide, collected at the show.
  • Club Child Ticket: FREE Aged 0-13, maximum 4 per paying adult.

Thank you for registering your club for Japfest Silverstone 2025. To book club tickets for your club stand, please use the code below:

Club Name: ElgrandOC
Code: JFS25-200

You can either use this code to book the tickets on behalf of your Club, or pass this code onto your Club Members to make their individual bookings themselves.

How to book your tickets:

2. After entering your details, please select 'YES' to attend as a part of a club.
3. This will then prompt you to enter the code you were given above.
4. You can then proceed to book your club tickets and add ons as required.

Please ensure you select a display entry ticket if you or your members wish to display their car.

As of 19/11/24 over 70% of display passes have been sold

Last years show display tickets sold out before Christmas and this year look like being the same or even before.

Update. As of the 22/11/24 only 15% of Club display passes left.

Update. As of 25/11/24 only 5% of Club display passes left.

Club Display Tickets now sold out

Public Camping

Make a weekend of it and camp before the show. Camping tickets are valid for two nights, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April, at Whittlebury Park Campsite. To see our camping Terms and Conditions please click here. Camping tickets do not include entry to the show, you will also need an entry ticket.

Public Adult Camping Ticket: £15 Aged 14 and over.

Public Child Camping Ticket: FREE Aged 0-13.

This seems to be pretty good value to me. If I read it right for a cost of £30.00 this would be 2nights camping for 2 adults and is what I will be booking.

1 @kfgas
Thanks for the details Kev. Think I'll look into to seeing if I can make this one👍

Would be brilliant to see you mate 👍

Seen that you stayed at the campsite last year. Would you do this again.

just saw i was slow last year, quick question , is the camp site for the vans aswell, and are we camping as a club ??

Camp site is for the vans so we can stay overnight on the Saturday night before the show and then on the Sunday night of the show before driving home on the Monday.

I live in Somerset so for me this is by far the best option as getting from home to the show on the Sunday for a 7 am start to display is not really feasible.

My Elgrand is converted to a camper so we will be sleeping in this.

If your Elgrand is not converted you will need to either bring a tent or sleep in your Elgrand with the seats down.

There is no option that I can see for booking the camping as a club so this would need to be done individually when you book your show ticket if this is what you want to do.

I am hoping that we should be able to park up pretty close to each other so we can maybe have a few beers and a chat on the evenings.:party:

Perhaps someone who is closer and could get on the campsite a bit earlier could save places for the rest of us:)

Of course if your are more local and just fancy turning up for the show on the day and not camping you just need to book a Club Ticket using the club Name ElgrandOC and the code JF25-200 which will then give you a place on the Club Stand.

Hey @kfgas thanks for sorting this, I’ve not been on the forum for a while so hadn’t seen your tag.

I will be there, just looking to book on but it’s not showing camping tickets for some reason. Have you guys already been able to book camping?

Edit: I’ve just shared on the facebook group too to see if we can get some more members to come

Quite strange. I have just been on the Japfest site as I had not booked yet and thought that I may as well book now and it won't let me log on coming up with an invalid message for my account.

Have now finally got into my account but it's ever so slow and keeps on coming up with error messages and timing me out.

Have now managed to get through to book and pay for tickets but although it gives options for track time and ticket protection if you can't go plus a couple of other option to sell you more there is no option that I can see to add camping.

Tried going on live chat but no option to send message.

All in all not very good.

Have now e-mailed them to ask and will post up when I know more.

Further to my last post this is a copy of the e-mail that I have sent to Japfest.

Hi, what is the procedure to book the overnight camping for the nights of the 12th and 13th April as there does not appear to be any option to book this when purchasing tickets..

Is it the done direct with the campsite.

Thank you Kevin

Hopefully hear back from them soon

I have checked on the campsite's website and it seems that it is only open for bookings in conjunction with Silverstone events and although it lists all the GP events which can be booked does not show anything for Japfest.

Will wait a day or so to see what Japfest come up with and will maybe contact the camping direct.

Just received this e-mail from Japfest

Dear Kevin

Camping tickets will be available soon.

Please keep an eye on social media and the website and once they available you will be able to see this information.

Kind regards.
Kelsey Events.

Seems crazy to me that they are not available yet.:(

I have looked on Japfest's facebook page and they say that over 50% of display tickets are now sold so to be on the safe side will have to book soon but reluctant without being able to book the camping at the same time just in case not able to get a space or the camping does not happen for some reason as travelling up and back on the day is not really an option for me and a big part of going is to make a bit of a weekend of it

Copy of my reply to the e-mail that I received from Japfest

Hi, thanks for the reply, so if I buy display passes can the camping tickets be purchased later on when they go on sale on a stand alone basis.

Regards Kevin

Will update with there reply.

I will also keep on eye on Japsfest's website and face book and post here with any updates.

Pretty quick with there reply's,

Just received this from my last e-mail to them so may just go ahead and buy a display pass to be on the safe side

Dear Kevin,

Yes that is correct.

Kind regards.
Kelsey Events.

Will then just have to keep a close eye on the website and facebook for when the camping tickets are for sale.

From the campside's webpage it looks like they have over 5000 pitches so should not be a problem getting a space :grinning:

Cheers for all the updates @kfgas I'll look at booking show tickets shortly, and will keep an eye out for camping tickets too.

Looking forward to seeing you and your new baby:heart:

Yeah we'll be camping. Too far to come just for the day. Not sure we'll do both nights, but definitely the Saturday night before the show 👍
