Happy Birthday!

Still on the first one here.
We're due to go to Scotland for our holiday a week on Saturday, we have more chance of winning the Lotto and getting struck by lightning when picking up the cheque than actually being able to go ffs.

Yeah! I was working in Scotland for a couple of weeks recently. First week wasn't too bad but on the Friday Ms Sturgeon decided to close all the pubs and restaurants, so it was takeaways in the hotel room on the second week.

Had a float across Loch Lomond though.

That's a shitter Kermit think it's taking its toll not having a holiday this year and no plans for next so need to get away:sob:

Stunning up there, love it.
It's a holiday we had to cancel in May, poor Nige been working, no furlough etc, we put it off thinking November would be ok, could not have misjudged it more!

Aye, same for many of us of course, I know I am not alone.
I think it'll be worse if we can't go when we feel we've done our bit, I mean I haven't been in Mum's house since March! We deliver food to her in her garden, I've not touched her since March, we are not having Xmas together either, we'll stand at her window with her in her lounge fgs.

Then you see kids lining up outside pubs on a weekend. Doesn't seem fair really but oh well.

Well I reckon it all went to pot for two reasons.

1 Schools returned.

2 Eat out to help out.

Stay tuned, I'm off down to the local brewery this afternoon for take out.

It made me realise I take things for granted like family get togethers was a thing we used to do every week and sometimes I had a moan about it I'll never moan again when we come out the other side
