Hi, I have a 2004 E51 rider, I've just managed to remove the fog light bulb that was out, but I've no idea if they are standard or a mod as I can't find similar bulbs anywhere??
Any help is much appreciated?

Just to add...
It's an H11 but it hard wired with 2 wires passing thru a grommet and ends with 2 connectors

Might be that they are aftermarket upgrades.

So after alot of research... It looks like these are indeed HDI bulbs.. But it looks like they should be fitted with 'ballast' as most are sold as kits with the ballast and bulbs, hence the other wires on new bulbs for sale, not sure if I should be putting in new bulbs without this ballast but I'm gonna order just the bulbs in 35w 6000k and put them in see what happens/how long they last

The ballast on the Elgrand should be fine if you are using the same bulb.

Thanks for your help Stempyuno, I'm gonna give it a try, only thing is I don't know what the old bulbs were ie Watts.
Only thing it says is H11!! So I'm gonna go for the lower wattage and hope nothing melts🙏🏻

Ah that makes more sense, I saw the same bundle of taped up wires thru what little room I was able to make under the fog lights/plastic trim. There may well be ballast up there I just wasn't looking for!

Better late than never.. they are generic hid bulbs. Typically sold in eBay.
I used to sell them. Still have some left over if you still not resolved yet.

Thanks for all the advice👍🏻
Got a set of these off amazon and fitted them yesterday 15 quid delivered, work a treat, really really bright and seem to only take 20/30 seconds to proper warm up, now just need to get my headlights brighter but not until I've used a headlight restore kit, went for the quixx kit, that's next weekends job
