Hi guys.

I have enables the "emoji" support on the forum (a feature than came with Xenforo 2).

Emojis are the "smilies" you get on your phone or other mobile device. These are NOT to be confused with the smilies already on the forum.

This means that when using a mobile device, you can just enter the emoji from your keyboard rather than having to select the one you want from the smilies built into the forum.

But, you cannot see these emojis when using a computer/laptop. I've tried with Chrome, and I just get a little box. I've tried using Internet explorer, and some of them display, whereas others do not.

So it's a hit and miss win.

For those who mostly use their smart phones or tablets, feel free to use them. If you use a computer or laptop, you'll have to continue using the built in ones.

Happy posting 🤩🦄🤬😎

I can see your emojis on my laptop... you using an iphone?

:) works fine in Safari on iMac.

Tbh, they seem to be a bit hit and miss for me, I see a few showing up on my phone as just boxes...

Will probably play it safe and stick with the forum based ones :)

Guys, just so you know, I'm not talking about the built in smilies:

I'm talking about the Emoji's you get on your phone/mobile device.

@Madfish as long as you use the standard Emojis that everyone usually has, then you'll be fine. The problem comes from different software having different Emojis. On Facebook every now and again, I see a box with a x in it, which is an emoji that my phone doesn't support.

If you install SwiftKey keyboard on your phone, you will see all the same emoji's that I have, as that's what drives the Emoji's I use.

Yeah, I use swiftkey

Emojis working for me good stuff!! 😁 👍
