Are front drop links different between 4×4 an 2wd , as just put new link on n/s/f and it still knocks and the securing tab is loose and can't tighten the nut anymore. 🤔

1. I found the new nuts supplied didn’t fit (can’t remember if top or bottom) so I re-used old ones with loctitite. Do check if this is the problems.
2. In the end I worked out that the knock was a split boot on the leg. Repaired with old inner tube and ok since,

It was definitely the drop link , I've taken it off and refitted and driven around for 10 minutes and all seems OK. If it starts knocking tomorrow, I will replace the nuts with the old ones and put some thread lock on . 👍

One of the nuts fits into a recess and the new nut was too big to sit in it.
