digital overhead clock replacement and installation

not sure if this counts as non-technical or technical but in the days of the old forum, before it went to facebook, there where some very good "how to" pages...
the one i need is the one where the old digital clock was removed and a new digital clock was fitted into the overhead unit and with the aid of a little soldering and tiny holes in in the side in order to adjust the new digital clocked it looked like the original clock..... i bought the clocks, downloaded the how to and it looked perfect. you would never know.....
i have since moved, bought another Elgrand and the digital display but for the life of me cannot find where i downloaded the "how to" on my pc...
does anyone else know where to find this little gem or have any guides on how to do this....???

FWIW you can also in theory get small round stick on analogue clocks (using watch mechs?) with Elgrand logos, eg on Aliexpress.com, for around £5/6 inc p&p.

@dognero has done something similat to this, not sure if he did a how to though.
 
The clock 'Adjust Offset' function - is this only limited to some Elgrands?
