Beaulieu Simply Jap 2019

Great day out. Didn't do much socialising as there was too much else to see and do. Refreshing that white was a minority colour this time.

Great day out for our 1st meet...fantastic weather and great company!
As for putting names to faces....I now know a lot of your real names but not all your names on here doh!!

Still hoping to be with you but have mysterious battery drain atm. Have to use one of those little box of tricks to start every time. Might be linked to stereo system but might not. If anyone round Tonbridge way has any ideas and would like to have a look we'd be delighted!
Hi,
We had the same problem on ours, turned out to be the screen aerials for the TV, got them disconnected as she's been fine ever since!

@Elgrandpa it's definitely linked to the stereo, when that fuse is taken out there's no drain. As we like the original setup we're hoping a second hand replacement might work - the CD player/changer has never worked anyway. Just got to find one.
So jealous we couldn't make it to Beaulieu, but had to look after poorly cat.

Great show today lots of new faces and a great get together
Shame about the stand not being booked but we all parked up together and got the kettles on

Yes, it lacked the organisational panache of JDM Combe but turned out ok in the end.

Hi,

Hi Ian, for my benefit at least, could you expand on the 'screen aerials for the TV' as I'm not clear what you are referring to? Cheers, AlanM

We ran ours for quite a while with the radio disconnected and she was fine, it was only when we had the double din stereo fitted that the problem was properly diagnosed and resolved

Here's a pic of my ones Lize and Nara, they were connected to the stereo somehow

Hi Alan,
Here's a pic of the ones we had, there were 4 I think from memory 1 each side and 2 across the top of the screen
