caught a bitch driving her little van using her phone on my dashcam, letting go of the steering wheel to swap hands !!! one thing that really bugs me is the amount of people who still use their phones while driving, ive had a few near misses while on my bikes 🤬 if they want to kill themselves i don't give a shit, but if they endanger other people then i do. rant over.

Drives me insane buddy when I see someone on the phone!
Always know it's happening when I see them drifiting from lane to lane!

What gets me is when they absolutely HAVE to take the call and park up to be "safe", saw one the other day, three foot from the kerb on the yellow jig jags, semi blind bend near the junior school in the village where I live.

the thing is even when they pull up and leave their engine running its still illegal, not a lot know that.

I see I would say absolute minimum 50 a day on their phones. Most of those are online whilst driving. My vantage point lets me see everything. However I did call the police 'voice activated hands free' on Friday as a guy was drinking a can of Stella whilst stuck in traffic.

Out of curiosity I shall try and do tally next week

If you have reg number just download it to your local crime stopper Web site and let the boys and girls in blue take over it would be fixed penalty and 3 points it's people like that who cause accidents that puts everyone insurance up

Obviously not just a female thing....but every morning I see at least 3 doing it whilst driving past a busy primary school to take their sprogs to the other school down the road....wankers

If the police think you are not in full control of your vehicle, you could be prosecuted.
Yes that includes hands free.
The lorry drivers at work, have to stop, before using the phone, if caught on the camera in the cab, they might be stacked, yes it has happened before.

You can legally use your mobile phone whilst driving to call 999 if it's impractical or dangerous for you to stop, I don't think however everyone is using there phone to dail 999

Yes....but those hilarious important memes won't send themselves.

I was in a traffic jam, I told the police I was using hands free and they called me back. I was far less danger than the person drinking Stella whilst driving.

I've called a few times, last time was only about a month ago, someone had lost a spare wheel and it was on the white lines between lanes on a 3 lane section of the A1, they didn't ask if I was hands free and there was no where to stop, dangerous if a car hits it, possibly deadly for a biker.

I have been asked once I think of I was hands free, I wasn't.

I’m never fully in control.

Edited to add…..

My view is this, I let the Police deal with law breakers.
It’s their job after all.

If a police person walked into my studio and started spraying paint all over one of my masterpieces- I would be livid.

Let them do their job and I will do mine.
