A novices guide to Elgrand acquisition

Mine came with the service record book all completed in Japanese, but everything had been done at correct intervals by a Nissan dealer. I'm not sure if there's a way to trace the records on line. You could try emailing Nissan in Japan as they will likely have records somewhere if given the chassis number.

Aha, thanks for your prompt reply, will probably need to contact Nissan Japan then, although the car does have everything else going in its favour, all recalls done, low mileage checked with VX report spotted in your original post, no accidents no problems, no radiation even! one private owner, grade 4B. Thanks.
 
It will likely be fine then and might have the service record book with it also. For decat try @Winchester who is also an importer and may be able to advise on service history.
