What have you done to your Elgrand today?

They are both nice but the " after set " I like better and are a lot easier to clean too. Maybe you could have the OEM items refurbished now to an as new finish and they you have 2 sets.
Got a quote of a £1000 to chrome a set of wheels , way to much , don’t no if I’m putting 18 on other e50 or putting up for sale , they need a gd refub ,but like new onescar is more comfortable aswell

My local alloy wheel refurb firm in Swindon ( platinum alloys ) have been doing a new finish on alloys for a few years now and its a sort of Chrome look powder coating finish. My old Chevrolet Astro dayvan came with some Boyd Coddington diamond finished alloys which were shot so I had Platinum do them for me and was thrilled with the finish ( see pic ) The set of 4 only cost me £300 as well I seem to recall.Astro pictures Feb 2013 005.JPGAstro pictures Feb 2013 007.JPGAstro pictures Feb 2013 013.JPG

Wheels look gd , loverly looking motor , I thought about these before I bought my camper van
Yeah I bought this off a pal in Brighton and it had an OMVL LPG kit on it. Ran silky smooth and I owned it for about 1 year tops. The missues hated it.

I spent a few quid on it too making her look as good as she did and bought all new spared from Rock Auto's in the USA. Had the roof pod wrapped in the Black along with the bonnet stripes too and all the other Black accents were all brand new from Rock Auto's. Alloys re-done and put a full HD UK Tv inside which worked a treat.

If she would have been RHD I think I would have kept her longer. Great vehicles albeit I never did any camping in it. Just loved them and wanted to tick ownership of one off my list. Sold it to a local guy in Swindon who wrecked it. Last seen on ebay and now up north somewhere I think.

What a fantastic looking beast @Brendan1969! Loving that exhaust bet it sounded lush! Boyd Coddington what a legend!!!

I know so sad to lose such a Legend in the Hotrod scene. I also love Chip Foose and also the guys of Kindig Customs my god they built an amazing Lincoln Continental.... the paintwork was like glass!!!
Yeah Chip Foose is a legend also. I used to love watching Pimp my ride but that show seems to have vanished now. I'm currently watching Phantom works on quest at 10pm after wheeler dealers on a Thursday night.

I'm with madfish on the wheels @malcolmyz85. The d-max ones look good but with a refurb the original ones would look more in keeping.
