no that's fine, I don't think many will lol but there if you wanted to. This is a reasonably new post and the first time eoc have had a pitch, so I hope numbers will steadily increase over the next few weeks. I know of at least 4 more members hoping to attend.
 
Again I am aiming off to be there but cannot commit just yet as its too far off. Nearer the time maybe as again its pretty much on my doorstep too and ive always wanted to go there.

To be on the club pitch tickets need to be purchased by 4th May i think and for £15 for a car full not bad price

That's good to know. Thanks. £15 is ok I suppose for a static stand area. Do we book online or via a club rep???

There is a 'how to' added to the original post and is booked through castle Combe website. If you get confused let me know and i will add photos or screen shots, but is quite easy

They hammer you for a booking fee of £2.50 at checkout so its £17.50 in total. :worried: is there another discount voucher code we can use to get it down??

Yep same here, can't do much about it, sounds like all is correct though
 
Everything seems to have a booking fee nowadays, i paid 50 for 2 tickets for the autosport show at the NEC, there was a booking fee on that! Oh well just pretend it's 17.50 instead of 15 lol

I attend many cars shows each year with my other toy I have and because I am an exhibitor and adding to the show taking place the organisers charge you ZERO £££ to enter as they appreciate that we bring our pride and joys along in order that they have a show to put on in the first place. No cars no show.

Plus the added costs we incur of travel and fuel so TBF I think Castle Coombes fee is not fair. Just my opinion and one I have held for a long time. If they want to put a show on then they should NOT be charging folk who just want to show their cars on a club stand. Obviously if you want to rag your ride around the track then fine, pay for that option.

It puts folk off attending eventually and then the shows die off as no one will pay. If it were say just £5 to come along and show your car on a club stand area then I would be ok ish with that albeit I still attend many shows which are FREE to exhibitors and club groups.

These venues makes thousands as it is with general public coming to see etc so it would be no skin off their noses to charge nothing to show exhibitors and their cars.
 
I know, but most events like beaulieu simply jap, jap fest and jae are all paid events, there is drifting and other bits going on. I'm looking forward to it.

I see all the pro's and con's buddy and TBH I will more than likely be there as my mate Alan will be there with the Scooby club and his STi
 
I'm going. Just bought and paid for my STATIC stand club pass. See you there guys. Hope the weather is nice.

Ah Mark it's you, didn't realise. I'm not putting mine round the track either, a few paid but would love a few more ;);):D
